A low-cost, bandwidth-friendly electronic performance support system for enterprise-development networks — underpinning our incubators, our change-agent networks and our MERL practice across industries.
During our years of research in small-enterprise development we saw the need for a low-cost, bandwidth-friendly software system to support enterprise-development initiatives and networks. We developed TouchAfrica™ to support our own and others’ enterprise and broader development activities.

Where data on formal and informal socio-economic activity is usually inadequate, community agents get the tools, training and support to survey, promote, maintain and update a central repository. Centralised data can then be made available to local and traditional authorities, at walk-in and self-help facilities, and over the internet to desktop and mobile users.
TouchAfrica feeds directly into our MERL practice — the same data that runs the network is the data we monitor, evaluate, research and learn from.
