Agriculture-focused rural communities sit at the confluence of the socio-political and economic arenas — at the base of the pyramid of both. Our services are aimed at overcoming the divides that isolate them.
Agriculture-focused rural communities are depicted at the confluence of the socio-political and economic arenas. These communities find themselves at the base-of-the-pyramid of both arenas — and the households, farmers and micro-enterprises within them end up on an isolated island. The animation shows the various divides that constrain these communities and the effect of those divides.
Our services are aimed at providing solutions to overcome these gaps and divides. We have set the parameters in the animation as the yardstick for the effectiveness of our solutions — the requirements for the network services and software solutions that we provide.
We have conducted 70+ people-years of research in and with the CSIR — Africa’s leading science and technology institute.
Team members bring more than 55 person-years of technology development and 20 years of small-business development experience.
Collectively 40 years of community learning and engagement (Kellogg and Mr Price Foundations), 24 years of change-agent network deployment and 40 years of agricultural-development experience.
